Can't believe my baby is going to Kindergarten! This has been a great year for her at Beulah, she has loved it! The last day was great....Mrs. Burt put on the "Beulah Prom" the girls put dress ups on and Mrs. Burt played some old music. It was the cutest thing! Of course the 4 boys in her class stayed off to the side! At her program she was all smiles...and it made us so very happy and proud! Just can't figure out how Chloe can be almost 7 and Kylie almost 6...I love my girls!!!!

A Toothless Grin!
Chloe has been in the process of losing her front two teeth over the past 3 weeks! Once her teeth become loose they just hold on forever! She lost the first one while eating crackers and the new tooth was already coming through. She looked like a pirate because the other tooth moved over and left that one right in the middle! Two days later the other one fell out on her way to school! She was so excited and loves how things sound different because of her teeth being gone! I love a toothless grin!

Easter 2009
Vegas
We surprised Shawn in April by showing up at the Airport in Las Vegas! His face was priceless and so was our time there with them! Can't wait to go back! We went to Hoover Dam the first day, hung out at the pool the second and walked like crazy the third! We saw two shows, stayed in a fabulous hotel..."The Wynn" and Eric even came home with a win in Hold 'em! Needless to say we had a GREAT time!

Been a while!
I guess I never got into the habit of posting once a week to get out of it, but here I am once again trying to keep everyone updated on our busy filled life. All is well, getting ready for Easter, Kylie brings me pictures in magazines of things she wants! Guess the Easter bunny is the same type of "person" Santa is...but she'll learn. We had nothing but fun watching Louisville in the NCAA tournament, too bad it ended early, but boy what a season! Those boys should walk proud, I know we do as fans!
As you can tell...the L was lite up in the window during the games! GO CARDS!!!

GIRLS NIGHT
A few weeks ago the addicting facebook paid off by reuniting with girls from Mercy I haven't seen in ages and a few I see often and never get tired of seeing them! We went to O'Shea's had some wine and hung out for a few hours. It was great to catch up with everyone...and great to just be with the girls! The group shot is of Gina, myself, Lori, Kelly and Michelle. Minus Amie and Amy this is my closest group of girls...love them all so much! It's nice to have time like that away from it all, just relax and not think about this crazy life!

Is it really already March?
I can hardly believe it has been since January since I last posted! Time has been scarce! We have been busy! Chloe and Kylie got back in the full swing of school and are doing great! Chloe has now completed her mission in being in the advanced reading program. I've never seen a 6 year old be so determined, and we are so very proud! I started to train for the mini until my treadmill took a 4 week break! What Eric thought he could fix turned out to cost me!!! So I have been running, and we'll see where it takes me! Trish and Shawn came to visit at the end of January and we had a great time...as you will see in some of the pics! We toured Churchill downs and the Louisville Slugger Museum, it was a great weekend for it all! We survived the Ice Storm!!! We lost power for a little over a day, but not long enough to have to leave...thank goodness!
Still no luck on either home. At this point we are waiting for a miracle to get us out of this nightmare! Never thought it would turn into something so frustrating and stressful, but it has gone beyond that! We continue to hang in and hold on, what else is there to do?
My friends have gotten me through some of the hardest times lately and I don't know if I'll ever be able to thank them! It's been a great support system even when they don't know they are supporting :o) Hope everyone is doing well out there! We are ready for Spring...bring on the warm weather and being outside!!!!

New Years 2008
For new years we stayed in Kentucky this year and headed down the street to Bill and Nora's. Although we missed being with Trish and Shawn we had a great time. The girls played up stairs while we all enjoyed hanging out with food, wine and friends. Nora entertained the girls with music and dancing... I think she entertained us more so...they were funny!
We are keeping busy, no gymnastics this term...we mommy and daddy had to take a break and reorganize around here! NO luck on the houses, surprise huh? Hoping someday soon someone will fall in love with one of our homes...a prayer answered would be an understatement!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
So we begin 2009 and can only hope it will bring new found hope and happiness! I will be posting pics of Christmas soon, but have to wait till I get my camera back (left it at my Aunts). The girls had a great Christmas and have been very busy playing with everything. School starts back next week and we already have some mixed emotions!
Hopefully 2009 will bring the sell of one or both of these homes. We are actually shooting for the Kingswood home to sell, but we'll see with time. Never thought it would take two years to sell a home, and now that we are working on three I am about speechless, not sure what will happen, but pray something happens soon!
Wishing everyone a very Happy and healthy 2009!!!!

Where has our time gone?
Can't believe it is already December 20th!! Just a few weeks ago I had so much time, and now here I am and don't know how to get it all done. Of course it will all get done, by the expense of not having much rest. I don't have too much to do, but this coming Monday and Tuesday are the busiest days of the year for me at work! The girls are excited, their programs were absolutely precious. They both did so well. I hope you enjoy watching as much as we did! The Polar Express play was too cute, Chloe sang all the songs and had fun, but the "train ride" through the school was nothing like I've ever seen. Chloe's "car" was a snowman, she was too cute! It was just priceless. Kylie is looking forward to doing it next year, we're already thinking of what we could do! I have some better pics of the programs, but they are on my camera that is with film....I'll pass them along as I get them back. Also, my dad has video of both, when I can figure out how to download (somethings not right) than I will post! Sorry for all the "zombie" eyes, the other camera doesn't do that!
I hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas! As we looked at Christmas lights tonight, Chloe reminded us that "Christmas is fun and getting presents is fun, but the true meaning of Christmas is that Jesus was born...." I hope the meaning of Christmas blesses you all!

Favorite Foto Friday....Holidays!

Since I don't usually give away what my Christmas Cards look like, here are a few pics from last years take! The picture on my Blog title was the card last year. This year was not as creative as I had hoped, but they turned out ok. Still waiting to do something special on a change of address if that ever happens! Of course at this point we would like to see the Kingswood house sell...since we are already settled here. Guess time will tell! The one of Jax in the Santa hat was just taken this week, he'll let you do anything...poor dog!

Getting Ready for Christmas!
It won't be long and Christmas will be over and we'll be bringing in yet another year! We are busy decorating, the tree is up and outside decor is done! Now just the little things inside. Chloe and Kylie are excited...looking forward to presents of course. It is an important time for Eric and I to be sure the meaning of Christmas is understood for the girls. We do have Chloe the "prayer patrol" though, so I'm sure she'll keep us informed! Things are busy and will continue to be over the next couple of weeks, but it is a fun time, and such a magical time!

Bath Time Fun!!!
While washing the girls hair, I had them cracking up! I used shampoo to stand it up on their heads, they thought it was the funniest thing! I just couldn't get it to stand up at the same time for a picture! The laughed so hard, it was just precious!
Happy Turkey Day to everyone! Can't believe it is already this time, but I love it because it means lots of time with our families! I'm hoping to start favoite foto friday's check back each week for a new theme!
